Full-inverter technology offers half the running costs and a 10x quieter swimming environment based on AVERAGE performance. When the season begins, the Full-inverter pool heat pump operates at 100% capacity to heat the pool during the first few days.
After that, the Full-inverter pool heat pump operates at an AVERAGE capacity of 50% to maintain the desired pool temperature.
Typically, the pool temperature drops between 0.5°C and 1.5°C per day; 50% of the capacity of a full-inverter pool heat pump is sufficient to heat the pool between 1.5°C and 2.2°C in 15 hours of operation with the appropriate model selected. The average COP
11.2 leads to half the operating cost compared to On/Off. Meanwhile, the AVERAGE sound pressure of a Full-inverter pool heat pump is 45.2 dB(A) at lm, which is 10 times quieter than On/Off and can even be negligible.
Energy-optimizing pool heating pump
For the first 5 days, Inverter-Plus operates at 100% capacity and heats the pool to the set temperature. For the next 175 days, it operates at an average of 50% capacity (average COP 11.0) to maintain the desired pool temperature. Therefore, the average COP doubles compared to the on/off setting.
